Gators
and Taters: A Week of Bedtime Stories
is the company's first children's
book. Plans are underway for subsequent books under the working
title of Another Week of Bedtime Stories.
The company
is owned by Michael and Elaine Romano and is a member of the Small
Publishers Association of North America (SPAN). They live lakeside
in McCall and have three grown children.
Mill Park Publishing
has four titles. The first is
Gators & Taters. The second is The
Idaho Color, Fun and Fact Book, produced in 2003. The
Magic Potato - La Papa Mágica, a story and coloring book
in English and Spanish, was produced in February 2004.
The Red Tease: A Woman's Adventures in Golf appeared in
March 2004.
These four
books were produced by Mill Park Publishing in eighteen months.
The books were written, illustrated, printed and published in Idaho.
Mill Park Publishing
is working on another English-Spanish children’s book. The Magic
Cactus (El Cacto Mágica)
will debut in 2006.
Publisher Michael
Romano was selected for "Who's Who in America" for
2004. Michael has participated in Buy Idaho shows throughout southern
Idaho.
